Unity of Beaverton actively supports a number of Beaverton area twelve-step recovery programs and we are proud to be able to provide meeting facilities for those seeking a recovery and rehabilitation network. A twelve-step program is a set of guiding principles outlining a course of action for recovery from addiction, compulsion, or other behavioral problems. Originally proposed by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) as a method of recovery from alcoholism, the Twelve Steps were first published in the book, alcoholics Anonymous: The Story of How More Than One Hundred Men Have Recovered From Alcoholism in 1939. The method was then adapted and became the foundation of other twelve-step programs such as Narcotics Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Co-Dependents Anonymous and Debtors Anonymous.

Food Pantry Shopping List! As of July 4th, the Unity of Beaverton Food pantry is now feeding over 25 families (100 people) each week and we need your contributions of Peanut Butter, Jams & Jellies, Toilet Tissue, and Toothpaste. Please drop these items at our Food Pantry anytime during open hours. The Beaverton area community thanks you for your support!
